The new album is finally out and right on the initial schedule, and now available at the price of 12€ (postage included worldwide, but with an extra 1€ if you choose paypal).

News for summer

The final details of “A l’aube des jours anciens” are now being completed, for a release expected in October 2011.

Benoît Sangoï of Pale roses made the mastering these last weeks and finally “Aube & crepuscule” should deal with the pressing and distribution, unless an interesting label makes me an offer I can’t refuse…
Fin de siècle – Part II : London is available since may, and many copies have been sold already, so better hurry up if you’ve not this second part already.
Some projects have been launched in the meantime and already mentioned, like D&DE’s darkest hour album that intends to end up with the “martial-industrial” mark for D&DE. Most of the tracks are chosen and worked out 75% lets’ say.
Time for lyrics and then voices recording now…

Twilight Records present the compilation “Recollection 1994-1999”

Recollection 1994-1999 is a compilation gathering the best of the two first albums that had been at the time released on the now deceased british cult label World Serpent.

The songs have all been remastered or remixed from the original tapes and give now the best overlook of what D&DE was like in its first tries 15 years ago now.
Some influences are obvious, like In the nursery or Blood Axis, and prepares for what was to come after with albums like “Remergence” in particuliar.

Subscriptions for new limited mini-album opened now !‏

‘Fin de siècle’ by Dawn & Dusk Entwined is a series of three mini-albums released on Aube & Crépuscule, each of them through the spectrum of a different European capital at a time when the European civilization was at its high.

Paris – London – Wien is a living picture of an era, covering the last decades of the XIXth century, with various aspects in arts, society, politics…

End of a century, short before the “belle époque” and World War I, and its loss of illusions.

Six brand new songs and 23 minutes of decadent, neo-classical and gloomy atmospheres, released on a printed cd-r in an elegant A5 edition, strictly limited and hand-numbered to 150 copies.

The first volume about Paris will be available during December 2010.

Twilight Records present the re-release of “Vanitas Vanitatum”, six songs of decadent and gloomy atmospheres, now with three exclusive new versions of songs originally featured on “The Hikimori songs” 10 inch EP.
The original edition of Vanitas Vanitatum was strictly limited to 99 hand-numbered copies on a printed cdr with A5 special paper packaging.
Expect
decadent and cinematic dark ambiences with forceful rhythms and strong orchestrations…

In a era where man was placed at the center of creation, vanities paintings in the 16-17th century were meant to recall him his mortal fate and greater values, God at the time, than human pretentions, consumerism, cheap entertainment…

New compilation track and copies available

« Icy breath on burning flesh » is the first volume of a series which intention is to celebrate the years of activity of the french association Douche Froide, that released some magazines and leading a radioshow in France.

D&DE presents a completely reworked and re-recorded version from 2006 the title ‘Heading towards the west’, originally opening the album ‘Forever war’ back in 2000.

This CD contains unreleased songs by 14 international artists of the dark ambient/experimental/post-industrial scene:

Drahomira Song Orchestra, Dawn and Dusk Entwined, Beyond Sensory Experience, Quattrophage, Hermann Kopp, Les Hauts de Plafond, Ilitch, Denis Frajerman, David Oliphant, Nature Morte, France Sauvage, De Mange Machine, Nihiltronix and Vladimir Hirsch.

It is now available, 500 limited hand-numbered copies.

It is ages since D&DE had a current and proper website, 2004 or 2005 I think…
